The Germans resumed their drive towards Moscow in November as additional forces arrived and the rains and mud became a thing of the past. The 21st Tank Brigade was pushed to the southeast by the 6th Panzer Division coming up on its open southern flank. The Germans continued to widen the shoulders of the salient, hammering the 29th and 30th Armies. The 41st Panzer Corps then swung northeast and drove towards the town of Klin, hoping to hit the rear of Moscow. What was left of the 21st Tank Brigade and the 20th Rifle Division made their stand outside Klin.
Objectives: The remnants of your company is tasked with halting the enemy thrust towards the village. Your platoon is deployed facing west along the road. It is especially important to destroy any enemy that enters the defensive perimeter outlined on the Commander's Map.
